The event that put us into motion. Our first ever hackathon, which was also our first time interacting with Brain Computer Interfacing.

We competed against Bachelor, Master and PhD Students from all around the world, and managed to win the Intheon award, as well as $1000

The TSHD Societal Challenge  is an event which takes away from Challenge-Based learning framework.  In collaboration with local institutions, such as the Elisabeth-Tweesteden (ETZ) hospital in Tilburg, several societal problems were presented to be solved by student teams.
Spring Hackathon. We won third place against 30+ teams consisting of Bachelor, Master and PhD students! There were a total of 340 attendees, coming from universities from 53 different countries. A fierce competition winning us $400!

We build a web application, which could be used to directly monitor your attention levels in real time. 

BRABATHON hosted by Philips, in which we pitched an implementation of FOCUS for in a medical operating room. 

Surgeons sometimes have to perform medical procedures that last for over 6 hours. During this time, they have to stay extremely focused.

How can neuroscience help in this?

The 5th edition Data hackathon The Healthy Brabantine City. A hackathon where we created a data driven health app that activates people to develop healthy habits.

During the 24 hours, we not only did a literature review, we did a data analyses, created a data dashboard, as well as create the idea and implementation of an app. This feat made us win the event, earning us 1125 euros.

The Tilburg University challenge, an entrepreneurial challenge of 4 months. During this period there were several workshops on how to pitch a product, network, create a business plan, and much more. In the Grand finally a total of 12 teams give a one-minute pitch on their business plan/product. There were 2 categories, ideation and business ready.
We competed and won the ideation category, winning us 2000 euros. 

We joined the Br41n.io hackathon during the IEEE SMC 2022 conference in Prague and managed to win the IEEE SMC prize! 

We competed against 50+ teams all over the world, , and managed to win the IEEE SMC award, winning us $1000

We created an across-word telepresence robot, that could be controlled through brain activity.

We won the best student paper award at the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics 2022 conference

1st place winner at Br41n.io
We joined the Br41n.io spring hackathon of 2023.
 We won first place in the gaming category against 41 teams from all over the world. 

We created a Streetfighter/Tekken- like multiplayer game, which was fully controlled through multiple different BCI paradigms
